Der queerfeministische Buchladen She said veranstaltet am 26. Januar eine Lesung in Berlin!
She said ist einer der besonderen Buchläden – generell und für uns noch viel mehr. Schon der Open Call zum Sammelband lag dort auf dem Tresen aus, kein Buchladen in Deutschland, Österreich oder der Schweiz hat den Sammelband so erfolgreich an Lesende vermittelt, wie das She said und nun gehören wir zu den 10 Bestsellern 2022 des Ladens. Dass dort nun drei tolle Autor*innen lesen werden, fühlt sich stimmig und wie unter Freund*innen an.
Es lesen und unterhalten sich Ahmed Sadkhan, Damoun und etaïnn zwer auf Deutsch und auf Englisch. Moderiert wird der Abend Aidan Riebensahm.
Die vorgetragenen Texte sind Teil des jüngst bei uns erschienenen Sammelbands „Realitäten. 30 queere Stimmen“.
The queer feminist bookstore She said is hosting a reading in Berlin on January 26th! The She said is one of the special bookstores – in general and for us even more. The open call for the anthology was already on the counter there, no bookstore in Germany, Austria or Switzerland has sold the anthology to readers as successfully as She said and now we are one of the 10 bestsellers 2022 of the store. The fact that three great authors will be reading there now feels right and like among friends. Ahmed Sadkhan, Damoun and etaïnn zwer read and talk in German and English. The evening will be moderated by Aidan Riebensahm. The texts presented are part of the anthology “Realities. 30 Queer Voices”.

Bei der Veranstaltung wird um das Tragen eines Mund-Nasen-Schutzes auch während der Veranstaltung gebeten.
Die nächstgelegene U-Bahnstation, Schönleinstrasse, hat keinen Aufzug. Die U-Bahnstation Hermannplatz verfügt über Aufzüge.
Das She said befindet sich auf Strassenebene ohne Stufen und hinter eine 2,5 cm hohen Schwelle. Die Eingangstür ist nicht automatisiert. Die all gender-Toilette ist ohne Stufen zugänglich. Die Toilettentür ist nicht automatisiert. Das Badezimmer ist gross, verfügt jedoch leider nicht über Halterungen/Griffe neben der Toilette und ist somit nicht rollstuhlgerecht.
Das Badezimmer verfügt über ein Wickeltisch.
At the event, you are asked to wear a corona mask during the event. The nearest subway station, Schönleinstrasse, does not have a lift. The Hermannplatz underground station has elevators. She said is located at street level with no steps and behind a one inch step. The front door is not automated. The all-gender toilet is accessible without steps. The toilet door is not automated. The bathroom is large, but unfortunately does not have holders/handles next to the toilet and is therefore not wheelchair accessible. The bathroom has a changing table.
